CPR & First Aid Challenge
The
estimated course completion time is 1½ - 2 hours for CPR & First Aid. No
lecture or video will be given.
This course is intended for those who have previously completed a CPR and First
Aid course, and whose certification card is either about to expire or has
recently expired.
Students will be given approximately 30 minutes to complete the American Safety
& Health Institute (ASHI) multiple choice test. Participants who pass the
multiple choice test will then demonstrate first aid and CPR skills. CPR skills
will include activating the chain of survival (i.e. calling EMS), rescue
breathing, compressions, and use of an AED for children and adults.
Immediately upon successful
completion of this training, the participants will receive an American Safety &
Health Institute course completion card with a suggested retraining date of two
years for CPR and two years for First Aid.
Know CPR offers nationally-accredited American Safety & Health
Institute (ASHI) and MEDIC FIRST AID CPR programs. All CPR programs
offered by Know CPR meet the requirements or standards of the Occupational
Safety & Health Administration (OSHA).
